Hallo good people. My DH has landed a job in Cardiff, so we are planning our move, We have three children 8,6 and 3. Some of his colleagues have said stay away from Barry but it looks fine to me??? Anyhow, where are the good schools for a start including high school? Not too bothered about welsh schools or not. But with three of them private schooling is out. Oh, and some where with fairly quick commute to Cardiff 30 minutes would be super but 45 mins is acceptable(not wanting to run 2 cars) I am sure I could find all this on Google, but cant beat word of mouth. Thanks everyone for your help. Is there a facebook page that I can join to find out more about this areas? Any leads would be much appreciated. Thanks

Do you want to be in the countryside / small town, or would a nice Cardiff suburb suit?

Barry has its good and bad areas just like anywhere else but has a reputation.
There are loads of nice areas within 30 mins of city centre. What's your budget and what style do you prefer?
