god, can't belive how expensive flowers are to be delivered!
can you try a local florist in their area ( google yellow pages and put in their post code or town) then you could phone up directly and prob get something much nicer!

TwigTwoolett · 16/10/2006 10:49

pmsl at wb .. I am going to stalk you if you don't help me and make me look like a mate who's put in loads of effort when actually I've just asked a bunch of strangers to do the work for me .. ok?

havning said that John Lewis do some lovely flowers - we had some delivered a few weeks ago when dd3 was born - not your usual bouquet it was a bit arty

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 16/10/2006 10:54

Next deliver flowers too, as do Marks & Spencer. If you're after something other than flowers, Hotel Chocolat can deliver next working day if you order by 2pm (might be 2.30 - not quite sure).

HauntedsandCastle · 16/10/2006 11:08

I like that, it's nice. I would love to get something like that.

Something for mum & baby!

cremolafoam · 16/10/2006 11:11

TutterIckOrTreat · 16/10/2006 11:18

wheelybug · 16/10/2006 11:22

babyblooms do next day delivery and are a bit 'different'.

hana · 16/10/2006 11:24

thanks

madmarchscare · 16/10/2006 11:29

Oh you have to do the Jane Packer one, I would pee my pants if someone sent me those. Hey, she might if her pelvic floor isnt back in form yet.

Heathcliffscathy · 16/10/2006 11:32

if you can bear for it to be tomorrow go directly to beverleyhillsbakery.com (i think that's it, but google it if not).

they do absolutely fantastic baskets of delicious muffins and brownies (they really are gorgeous) along with cute cuddly toy for boy or girl baby.

best thing ever when breastfeeding is to have these in the house rather than more flowers.

Heathcliffscathy · 16/10/2006 11:34

here it is fabulous fabulous fabulous

TwigTwoolett · 16/10/2006 12:09

you're all great (with the exception of welshboris of course)

Love the blankets and cookies

but went with wheelybug's babyblooms

glad to be of service

I sent one yesterday too and have sent two before and recipients have always been suitably 'wowed' (or at least thats what they politely said !!)
