I too am feverishly cooking for tonight Sparks. Curries done, Tarka daal , saag aloo etc done. Ran out of skewers for chicken. What is it with small pointy wood things?

Tarka daal is lentil curry. Saag aloo is spinach and potato curry. Quite possibly the best veg curry imo. I made that at my Diwali shindig along with aloo gobi and it went down really well, even with the meat eaters.

At last someone mentions a food I love, but would not want to lick off a Musketeer. All that talk of pate and chocolate mousse was getting very distracting.

Back from shopping. Didn't buy anything, which is perhaps just as well as I did a food shop, filled up with petrol and did the lottery for 8 weeks which is such a waste of money because I never win anything, but I use the same numbers and the first time I miss doing it I know I'll win the jackpot.

I'm cheating as a friend who is coming goes past a takeaway which does amazing naans so have ordered a load there that she is picking up in the way. Naughty, but these are lovely and much nicer than the shop bought ones I'd end up serving.
