We are getting to the 1000 limit so I thought I would start a new happy thread!

glad to hear all your shoots went well with b&b, we went to th kl one this week and that went well, i didnt get to see any of the pic's and they said they would be ready about Jan o7,i went out at the last min and brought 4 different coloured t shirts and she ended up wearing one of their kl ones for the shoot!
Back of to finish my dd's filming on sunday got the train tickets deliverd today so we are looking forward to that

hi all just popping on quick to say we're back, had a lovely time in devon despite some tumultuous weather and ds not being too happy about not being in his own bed! they had a swimming pool that you got to book for private use though and he loved it!!! we start 'little dippers' lessons next week and i'm looking even more forward to it now.

sounds like everyone's been busy which is fantastic. if mrsratty and julie (and anyone else, didn't read all the way down!) wouldn't mind sending me your b&b pics i'd love to see them. still ages before ds will get them done tho! my email addy is [email protected]. last call for those lansinoh breast pads to anyone that's breastfeeding, otherwise i may have to chuck them which i really don't want to! email me if you want them. off to dr this am but will try to come on later for a chat, hope everyone's well! x

Hi Meid, I'm not sure about those agencies, but I know some of the people on here are/have been with Norrie Carr so they may help. I don't think its usual to pay for an assessment, but costs do vary enormously between agencies. What are the other agencies, and how old is your DC? Try looking at childmodelling.net, its got a good section on agencies.

We had B and B book yesterday, went well, though DS's hair is a bit shorter than usual, I like his hair really long! The photographer is Joey, who is lovely, he did the Mothercare poster shoot of DS which is in the windows at the moment, and has promised some more pics.

Fingers crossed for the ad, Ragamuffin and Julie, and for Elle too. Anyone else waiting on castings??

littlemadam i think ds should be in tesco end of this month. we had a look in the camberley tesco which is huge but they're under renovation at the mo so i'm not sure if they have all the promotional pics that other stores would have? if anyone else is near a tesco with clothes i wouldn't mind you keeping an eye out for me please.

as much as i loved devon (especially totnes) and we had a good time i couldn't believe how much more work it is to take a baby on holiday than take care of them at home!!! the fact that he wasn't sleeping well didn't help but i must admit i was glad to see our flat when we pulled up! then it took about half an hour just to unload the car and get everything upstairs. i need a holiday to recover from my holiday.

DLM - there is a Tescos near me - will keep an eye out for you - it is a really big one so I'm sure DS will be there.

My DD is 5. We are waiting on B&B, BK and Rascals. Once I know about those, one way or the other, I'll make a decision on how to take it further.

I really want to do it, but now we've had a couple of positive responses it is looking quite mindboggling - so many factors to consider!

hi i can tell you about rascals. they charge 155.00 registration fee and you can either have photos done there or you need to provide professional photos.

mrsratty- just looked at the house of fraser picture and your dd is very adaptable looks totally different from the Junior pictures, well done to your dd they are great

meid have you tried urban angels as their books opened this week?

Pimms - I got Junior magazine today and there is a picture of your son in it with lots of christmas puddings!!!!

Julie - DD does look different in the hof picture, it funny to think it was done on the same day as the Junior pictures. People who know her think she looks different in the Junior pictures to how she really looks.
