mrsratty I thought the parties would slow down this year, but DD loves them, in a hall with an entertainer screeching down the microphone, the kids love it lol

THUMBS- have emailed you!! PIC INCLUDED

Hi there - how are things re half term with everyone? Not really caught up - had grotty bug end of the week luckily dd2 escaped it and dd1 didn't have it as bad as me which was NOT FAIR!!

We are in frustrating limbo at the moment - due to have model book shoot for B&B on Thurs, but I would presume they wouldn't promote dd for a few weeks as I had to give NC a month's notice, so guess I won't hear much for a bit.

We're on hols between Xmas and New Year - what is that time like re modelling - do the agencies/photographers etc tend to take that time off or is it busy cos it's school hols?

I always let the agency know a couple of weeks before we are due to go on hols, as I would be kicking myself for no reason all holiday if I knew she had been called for something we couldn't do!

ellesmum · 21/10/2006 17:32

mrsratty - how much sooner do you get junior if you subscribe??

julie - did u find those pink tops in mothercare for your dd?

just got back from shopping, bought dd a new coat from next age 1-2 and it fits her perfect! cant believe how small she is! she'll be 3 in dec!

oh and i picked up the woolworths cat, hows los are in it ive forgot!

Ragamuffin · 21/10/2006 18:56

housemum.......time between Christmas and the New Year is very DEAD!!!!! so a great time to go away as you won't miss anything. We always try to do a local show/panto at that time as it's always quiet.

ellesmum.....if you subscribe to Junior you usually get your mag about a week before it goes on sale. So well worth it!

Just got back from London, DD and DS went to a casting for a short film. Should hear middle of next week if either has got it.

julie....Yeah only 3 kids in WHSmith Cat. DD and boy on cover and one other boy on inside cover and once inside. Good Luck tomorrow!!!!

julie4travel · 21/10/2006 19:44

Tinkerbel5 · 21/10/2006 20:51

julie good luck for your LO tomorrow, Im sure she will be fine.

mrsratty · 22/10/2006 09:17

Ragamuffin - Fingers crossed you will hear good news form the casting.

Julie - Good luck for today, I've been trying to find non stained clothes for DD's book shoot and not had much luck!

Ellesmum - You get the magazine a few days before and it's cheaper too, so if you would be buying every month it is worth it. Junior_Subs

Re Junior mag - the freebies for new subscribers are often good too! I got a £40 Elemis moisturiser, I think last month it was a free "Bobbooks" book (they're a company you send pics to and they come back in a hardbound book costing about £40 - wish I'd got that one!).

ellesmum · 22/10/2006 13:01

housemum - thats sounds good, think i will subscribe to it, especially if you get it a week eairly, thats really good.

ellesmum · 22/10/2006 13:02

mrsratty - thanks for the link, will have a look at it.

littlemadam · 22/10/2006 14:21

Good luck on the Motherdcare shoot tomorrow, and fingers crossed Ragamuffin's DD and DS!!
I love Junior, and especially great now to get it early to check out the MN babes

Still trying to find non white, non logo bright colour T shirts!! Think I'm in the wrong season!

mrsratty · 22/10/2006 14:26

littlemadam - Try H&M they have good plain clothes for girls so I imagine they do for boys too. Does it have to be a t-shirt? To get to the studio do you walk from Westbourne Park?

OP posts:
Tinkerbel5 · 22/10/2006 14:29

hello

mrsratty come out of westbourne park station, turn left, cross a little road, cut through the scateboard park and walk left along the canal, thats the way I did it last time.

Tinkerbel5 · 22/10/2006 14:30

skateboard that is lol

walk along the canal until you come to some blue iron stairs, then turn right onto the main road and the studios is just there.

littlemadam · 22/10/2006 14:36

Thanks Mrsratty, will try H and M tomorrow. Doesn't have to be a T shirt, will take a shirt too. Dresses are fine too for girls I'm sure.

Westbourne Parks the stop, as Tink says just follow the path. Best of luck with it guys, and also Monsoon, fingers crossed!

mrsratty · 22/10/2006 14:37

Tinkerbel5 - Thanks for that, it makes sense when looking at the map. Good luck for your DD's shoot!

OP posts:
mrsratty · 22/10/2006 14:39

littlemadam - Most of DD's clothes are pale pink with fairy pictures, or they are stripy or floral dresses which won't be suitable, I have found a couple of things which maybe okay, I hope!!
