I would not personally put an 8 year old (or any child, actually) in a top that said that.

LadyDooM · 10/10/2006 10:24

What company made that? Are they a bunch of pedophiles? Just goes to show just how bad the world really is getting when they sell t-shirts that say that. Its encouraging pedophiles don't you think? This is as bad as the Harry Potter vibrating broomstick that had so much publicity a few years back. Oh and like when your watching the news and they are complaining about either drugs or homemade bombs and go on and tell you what websites people learn them from and what ingredients they used. Can I just give a big DUH!
makes me wish I could pack my family up and go live somewhere safer, but where exactly would that be?

I suppose it's possible that the slogan was originally conceived without any dodgy intent (in a spirit of bob-a-job week and the Secret Seven). But I rather doubt it and agree not really appropriate to dress a child in as it will certainly be read with dodgy connotations.

Could you cut the sleeves down to short-sleeved so it just has "YOUNG" (or "EAGER", I suppose, depending on which way the writing goes)?

The sexual suggestiveness of that slogan isn't really appropriate for a child't t-shirt - I wouldn't let my child wear it, but that's just me.

How long will it be before we get clothes in Mothercare bearing the slogan 'I like it on top'??

kslatts · 10/10/2006 11:43

I wouldn't let my child where, I don't really like any slogan tops.
