Any other pregnant lycra louts out there?

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby - and a keen road biker. Normally I go on several big rides a year in France but I haven't felt able to (due to moning sickness and then fear of hurting baby if i fell off) do any proper cycling since I got pregant.

Stopped commuting to work about 2 months ago as I could no longer fit into any shorts and i had a close shave with a mountain-biker who nearly knocked me off.

My partner is driving me mad as he's still doing triathlons and riding - and I get soo jealous

Anyone else out there missing the rush of wind through their hair? and wondering whether they'll every get back out on thr road again with a nipper in tow?

Not a cyclist but was a keen marathon runner before I got pregnant. Am now nearly 21 weeks and still managing 5 runs per week, but nothing like the pace or distance I was doing before.

I'm finding it frustrating having to run so slowly and not being able to enter races (I could, but can't trust myself to just jog round at the back - I'm far too competitive for that!) I'm pleased I'm still able to run but miss the motivation of setting goals and having target races: normally I'd be starting to think about next year's London Marathon and getting a few halves under my belt around this time of year.

I am already planning how I'll be able to fit in my training once the baby's born. I want to get back to it as quickly as possible so I have almost a year to prepare for London 2008. I ran 3:23 in April this year and want to go for a Championship place (sub-3:15) in April 2008.

Hi! I;m 32 weeks tomorrow and still managing circuits training once a week, spinning classes once or twice a week and a couple of swims each week. I've definatley slowed down on what i have been doing (normally really push myself in all my classes and whatever sport I'm doing)but I'm just keeping going whilst I can still manage and am still enjoying it.

I'm finding the lack of competitive sport really hard though, I carried on playing cricket up until about 18 weeks, but thought it would be best to stop after then as I normally throw myself around a bit whilst fielding so thought that wouldn't be sensible! I used to row but gave that up a while ago, though still use the indoor rower and I'm planning my first competition in that about 10 weeks after my due date, don't quite know yet if that is just a crazy idea or not but have to have a goal! I was also hoping to start playing rugby again (pregnancy got in the way of my return this season!) but will have to see how that pans out I guess!

The only running I'm doing at the moment is running around a show ring with one of my dogs, it does make me laugh when people start moaning about having to run around the ring twice (they should try it with the extra 2 stone I'm carrying around at the moment!)
