Anyone a member of LA FITNESS?

Just wondered what you thought of them.
We have an appointment at 3pm to see what they have to offer. DH and I really need to excercise and lose weight.
I went to the enquiry desk this morning and saw a gorgeous swimming pool through the window. I'm really looking forward to it.

All gyms tend to work on a business model of taking your cash and waiting till you lose interest, bu that aside when dw joined LA Fitness I negotiated a 6 month break clause (which we subsequently went on to use). It needed the manager's signature on the contract.

They are great if you want to reword contracts and things I was a member at DL and they were crap and I had 3 months still to pay for when I joined LA Fitness and they only made me pay half the normal subscription each month until I had finished paying DL.

Not as swish as Holmes Place or DL but hey a pools a pool and a treadmill isn't that complicated whatever model you have!!!

remember takes on average 9months for the gym to become a habit.
