My Dd1 aged 6 has just called me in to her bedroom to show me something.
She had tidied it from top to bottom, even sorting the stuff out rather than the usual shoving it all under the bed.
She has now started on the living room

So THANKYOU LOLLY

Awwwww, how sweet!!! How did you manage that???

Nutcracker · 15/04/2004 16:57

Haven't a clue. Didn't even know what she was doing. The bedroom was a state as my friend and her kids had been round.
I was gobsmacked really. Nearly cried too, how soppy is that.

It's nice to know that they do listen to me sometimes.
Just have to stop Dd2 and Ds messing it up again now.

Well done Lolly

Freckle · 15/04/2004 17:31

How lovely. Could she come round and give lessons to my 10yo and 8yo? The 5yo is better at clearing up than the other 2.

What a lovely little girl you're raising, nutty!

Love "Lolly" - when I was in digs for my first year at college the family had 3 children and the middle one was Lolly - her name was Victoria, never did find out where Lolly came from!

coppertop · 15/04/2004 19:35

Bless her!

Nutty, have you thought of hiring her out to 'domestically-challenged' MN'ers? I'd sign her up!

Lisa78 · 15/04/2004 19:37

little love - I WANT HER!!!
Maybe she's just trying to help mummy be happy

Nutcracker · 15/04/2004 20:43

Showed her this thread before she went to bed and she got all embarresed.
Her name is Lauren and most of the family and a few of her friends call her Lolly or Lol.

Will definatly have to consider hiring her out

Nutcracker · 15/04/2004 21:08

I'm o.k today thanks. Had a chat to a friend today who said that i should just leave things as they are until 28th as i was getting in quite a state.
Am still not completely sure what i'm going to do now though.

misdee - Our Lauren gets called Lollipop too. My dad calls her Lauren Littlebum, as she just doesn't have one she's so skinny.
