A 'woman' who types like a teenager yet claims to be 31 (or 32 - somewhere round there) on my Antenatal club on another website has spent 10yrs (or so) TTC this current one (she's got 2 already), has been suffering blinding headaches, vomitting, come out in spots, been for an early scan (she's about 5+3) because of cramping and to top it all her OH has just run off with the ex-babysitter

indeed but there's no glory in being the first to out a troll so don't risk upsetting a truly vulnerable person. Just don't respond if you don't believe.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:27

oh I'm not - infact I'm not going to say a word - intrigued to know how many more dramas one woman can have in a pg

She is a walking miracle

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:38

oh sorry - got it wrong - she's been feeling really sick - not actually being sick though.

she could be genuine so dont judge her, i spent 8 years trying to get pregnant and had nothing but problems when pregnant ending up with pre eclampsia and my darling ex running off with a tall skinny blonde 2 weeks before i gave birth. if i wrote it all down it would look like a soap opera but more exciting! i got well and truly fed up of all the dramas!

SherlockLGJ · 03/10/2006 20:39

Well I took 9 years to concieve......but so far DH has not shown any interest in the babysitter.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:40

I suppose nulcat - but did you have this many dramas within the 1st week of finding out you were pg???

OP posts:
HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:44

and she tested 1 day before AF was due and was it was positive (fair enough) and is now 5 +4.....but she posted on the 21st September to say the DR confirmed her pg?????

Oh all right then, next time she comes up with a new complaint, urge her to see a doctor again, just to see what happens.

nulnulcat · 03/10/2006 20:48

see your point and i was nearly 5 months when i realised it wasnt a hangover making me throw up!! so i squashed all my dramas into the last trimester

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:50

LGJ - are you sure

Gawd knows what you lot would have made of me then! Pregnancy made me very paranoid and very depressed. I always thought something would go wrong with it, or me but I got the feeling that whenever I mentioned anything to anyone they didn't want to hear about it. Some people actually changed the subject whilst I was still talking!

Now I'm not a hypochondriac by nature and if this woman's dp has run off, then aren't you being a tad insensitive to her and just a little judgemental? Do you not remember how hard it was when you were pregnant?

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:52

"Do you not remember how hard it was when you were pregnant?"

ermmm I am pregnant!

And see my 8.44 post - does that sound realstic to you

OP posts:
HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 20:53

and besides - she's not on MN....and I've no intentions of saying anything to her

OP posts:
Rhubarb · 03/10/2006 20:55

But why pick holes in her? She is obviously disturbed so I don't see what picking her to pieces would gain.

Sorry but I don't like reading about some poor women who is having the mickey taken out of her behind her back.

Rhubarb · 03/10/2006 21:03

Sorry to sound harsh QoQ but I don't know if you knew about my pregnancies. I suffered very badly from depression and delusions. Other people's attitude to me made me a social recluse. I do feel sorry for her and think if she is in a bad way she needs help. A kind word can do wonders you know!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 21:04

I'm actually more concerned about other members of the Antenatal Club getting drawn in by her - and several already are.......

OP posts:
Rhubarb · 03/10/2006 21:16

Ah well, keep your distance but don't deny her their support. They can make their own judgements.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 21:17

Think I may just stick my MN club - seems a 'safer' - bet LOL

OP posts:
Rhubarb · 03/10/2006 21:18

How's the bump coming along then? I don't envy you!

lucy5 · 03/10/2006 21:18

Too be honest, I have had a shit pregnancy and have been ill for nearly the whole of my pregnancy, almost from the start. I think if I wrote it all down I would look like a hypo too! Perhaps you should cut her some slack.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 21:20

well I would have said "fine" to your question Rhubarb - until about 2 minutes ago when I had my last mouthful of dinner and now feel like I'm going to be sick..........

OP posts:
Rhubarb · 03/10/2006 21:22

Have a guinness - it's good for you!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 03/10/2006 21:23

not sure work would be too impressed with me turning up drunk LOL.
