There's a website you could check, something like www.roofbox.co.uk..

We had a Space Cruiser (the one before the Previa) and it had roofbars and we had a roofbox on it (and I did forget in a multi-storey the first time I went in one and skinned it )

Yes you can.Don't forget the step ladders so you can load and unload it.
We have one no roof box but DH into everything to do with them. He even belongs to an estimas owners club )Did I say that out loud)

KBear · 03/10/2006 21:42

The ones we've been looking at are imports. I think too big for us but DH has talked me into it for camping trips etc etc so much storage space etc etc. Can't be arsed to argue anymore!

My sister was driving my dads company "van" which was a cherokee thingy with a roof box, and got it jammed under the height restriction bar at Lidls!!! They had to come and remove the whole bar! She was V.

I second roofbox.co.uk - we got ours for a mazda mpv from there a couple of years ago - and were very impressed with the advice, service and website.

KBear · 04/10/2006 14:45

He's decided against buying it - all my subliminal messages have finally sunk in! ha ha ha

They are brilliant for camping, I have to admit - in ours the 3rd row split and folded away so we still had seats for 6 but also a vast tall space for stowing stuff in. We miss it

heavenis · 04/10/2006 21:05

We spilt the third row when we went away in summer. 4 adults and 2 children and had enough room for luggage.
How many travel with you and how big is the tent ?
