I am looking for something to firm my skin on my face, not really anti wrinkle but that would be good too of course!

Any recommendations? Would prefer a night one really

Virgin Vie do a combi called Freeze Frame - like a lifting agent in a serum and a moisturiser that is like botox in a jar. £50 for the 2 . Me and most of mates swear by it. fab!

not firming particularly, but beauty flash balm by clarins is amazing as it smooths your whole face. Love it!

CountessDracula · 02/10/2006 14:33

Yes I use beauty flash balm but was looking for something that will make a difference long term rather than a quick fix (I think bfb is only a quick fix isn't it?)

Don't know virgin vie where do you get it?

I have often wondered (or at least when the Space NK catalogues come )about products by Freeze which claim to do astonishing firming Botox-like things. However I have not tried this stuff but perhaps someone else has. Have been a bit wary since somthing els3e from Space called something like Dr Sebum's eye-lifting anti-wrinke 45000 years younger cream caused my eyelids to peel off....

Clarins are very good for samples , just ask for one in john lewis?
Salonskincare is an excellent site, very reliable.

The only specifically firming moisuriser I have had is la praire and it was pants , so if you find something good let us all know please.

CountessDracula · 02/10/2006 16:44

I have Freeze 24/7 it is fab but only temporary again

Is it your face as such ,or is it more your eyes ? Because decleor hydrotenseur eye serum is fantastic and that is firming.

CountessDracula · 02/10/2006 16:55

face really

have lost a stone and a bit and feeling a bit haggared also summer tan faded. Want to lose more but not look like old bat

Have you thought of having an electrical facial ?

Sounds a bit scary but is not , is very relaxing. You can get good firming results with them. Guinot do them ,and Carita and susan molyneux

Have you tried /link{http://avonshop.co.uk/avonshop/default.asp?line_id=12&department=fastfind&src_page=random_product_list.asp/this} I have some pots available at a discounted price.

If you are interested, please email me jan.avon @ yahoo.co.uk

MadameButterfly · 02/10/2006 17:20

CountessDracula · 03/10/2006 10:47

ok am still looking for this!

I have tried the Clarins one I linked to and didn't like it

I have tried a more expensive clarins one which i loved (here ) but it is £60 a pot and I would get through it too fast!

I read somewhere that the Olay Regenerist range is very good (in some scientific study)
Anyone tried it?

OP posts:
krabbiepatty · 06/02/2007 14:00

Yes I liked the Regenerist stuff - it felt quite light. Can't remember which one it was of the range but it was no worse than Eve Lom equivalent.

krabbiepatty · 06/02/2007 14:02

I don't know how much actual firming it did but it felt like a pricier moisturiser...

CountessDracula · 06/02/2007 15:31

hmm

oh arseflaps maybe I should just get the clarins one
