She said "Oh well done, you!"
Such a pleasant change from "Oh you poor thing, you must be exhausted!"

I've also got 3 boys and agree it's nice to hear a positive reaction.I have quite a few friends with 3 boys as well ( the 3 boys club!!)and we often talk about why poeople are so negative.

aww I wish smeone would say that to me!
I have three boys and one girl, and although I would quite like another girl, I LOVE havign three boys,

mamama · 30/09/2006 03:04

Yay for boys - our playgroup is nearly all boys and all the other mums have 'girl envy' - I think the boys are great!

auntymandy · 30/09/2006 06:14

I always said I would have 10 boys to 1 girl..I have 4 to 1 not sure I want to take the risk of making it 4-2!!!!

Rosylily · 30/09/2006 14:37

I have 2 boys 1 girl and something on the way don't mind which. They are all fab and different. My boys are easier than my girl. I don't know why the perception is that boys are a handfull??

Freckle · 30/09/2006 14:45

3 boys here too. I love them to bits and, being one of 3 girls, find the complete contrast refreshing.

They fight, drive me to distraction and make me tear my hair out at times, but I wouldn't change one bit of them.

That's lovely! All too often I get 'Oooh 3 boys, that must be hard work' Ummm no not really! And when pregnant with DS3 all I was ever asked was 'I bet you'd like a girl this time' Again, no just a healthy baby will do nicely thank you.

I love having 3 boys, they are brilliant. And from what I have seen of friends girls, much more affectionate than girls. They are masses of fun! DH loves having all boys too

Another advantage is that DH can take them camping for a weekend and I can have some peace Hasn't happened yet as th e 2 youngest are still v. young but it will!
