Spiders are gorgeous! Even female ones.

And they've got hairs on their legs.

SenoraPostrophe · 26/09/2006 10:46

if you say so.

feminine [tick]
gorgeous [tick]
hairy-legged [tick]

actually due to a handy freak of genetics my legs (and arms) are virtually bald so have managed so far to get away without waxing them.

JessaJam · 26/09/2006 11:02

I have slightly stubbly legs at the moment, does that count?!
I wouldn't go so far as "gorgeous", but I am more feminine than some women I know (and less than others!!)

ginmummy · 26/09/2006 11:04

feminine - sometimes
gorgeous - not a word I'd use to describe myself
hairy-legged - oh yes!

Flamesparrow · 26/09/2006 11:12

I'd say I'm feminine... ok... and stubbly...

fennel · 26/09/2006 11:13

sorry, am not feminine nor gorgeous. sometimes hairy legged though.

expatinscotland · 26/09/2006 11:13

MrsB,
My dad is half Mayan Indian, and he has almost no body hair!

A man w/hairless legs!

QueenEagle · 26/09/2006 11:14

Butch and slightly stubbly here.

MangledFanjo · 26/09/2006 11:20

Feminine - not really
Gorgeous - sometimes
Hairy - Defintely

..and to top it all of I had a mole removed under one arm in the armpit and can't shave those for 3 weeks. YYUUUKKKKKKKK!!

FluffyCharlotteCorday · 26/09/2006 11:21

2 out of 3.

(Have recently waxed)

Hallgerda · 26/09/2006 11:24

feminine - no
gorgeous - not for me to judge
hairy-legged - yes

PinkTulips · 26/09/2006 11:27

feminine - yes
gorgeous - not really
hairy legged - let me check...... yup!

Loshad · 26/09/2006 11:31

dunno about the first 2, but def hairy legged - although very pale hairs

burstingbug · 26/09/2006 11:34

I go with the majority, not sure about the 1st 2 things, but defo hairy.
Eeeew

ScummyMummy · 26/09/2006 11:40

Never sure what feminine means...

gorgeous- no. perfectly ok looking and happy with the way i look though

hairy legs aometimes. But I wouldn't go swimming with them. And that's what i was getting at in the thread. I would judge myself not appropriate to go swimming with hairy legs and would be embarrassed and sure people were staring.

fennel · 26/09/2006 11:42

indeed, scummy. while i applaud hairy legs on principle and always approve when i see them (and hairy armpits too) I'm rather glad my leg hairs are blonde and quite fine. Which isn't the Point of it is it?

CheesyFeet · 26/09/2006 11:44

feminine - dunno really, I'm a bit clumpy and awkward and too overweight to dress really nicely but I am a mother hen and I like to cook.

gorgeous - dh thinks so but see above

hairy - not usually ( at SP re previous thread)

franca70 · 26/09/2006 11:46

feminine and gorgeous not as much, but hairy legs oooh yes, I'm Italian, i need waxing once a month, and here I actually feel ashamed in front of the beautician

CheesyFeet · 26/09/2006 11:46

Oddly enough I have just been contemplating my reasons for not being hairy-legged (it is a slow day at work today) - I suppose it's vanity really but I shave my armpits and bikini line for comfort and stench reduction reasons as well as vanity.

admylin · 26/09/2006 11:47

Now there is something positive about living in Germany, they don't care over here if you have smooth, stubbly or hairy legs so you go out how you want and even arm pit hairs long enough to plait don't get stared at.
Must admit the first time I tried "going public" because I didn't have time to shave, in a small german town it felt really strange so I didn't do it again!

IdrisTheDragon · 26/09/2006 11:55

feminine - sometimes
gorgeous - not at the moment
hairy - definitely
