How to get a free online photo album?

I was wondering about how I get upload some photos of DD's birthday party to share with family and friends around the country and abroad. I already have a small photo gallery for DD on babiesonline but that is limited to just 30 photos so I would have to keep deleteing and changing them - which I assume would mess the links up here.

So how do I do it? How can I get a free photo album created? Don't really want to pay! One that I can add to, and not just photos of DD.

Or am I best to have my own site? Trouble is, although I can create a reasonable enough site I haven't actually ever uploaded a site onto the net and (despite teaching ICT) I am not sure how I go about it. Any advice?

Try Photobox where you can keep photos private, share them with anyone or with only a select few chosen by you. You and your friends can order prints (or gifts etc) or just look or copy and print themselves. It works for us. You get 100MB space which should be more than 30 pics. It's dead easy to use, uploading is just a case of picking photos and letting the site do the rest really, although it isn't the quickest, but it works. We used it to show people our new E3 and got hundreds of hits. HTH

We also used it to share photos of my brothers wedding with the happy couple honeymooning in NZ & Australia, which they loved.

Another alternative to Photobox is Ofoto . They are much the same, but I think the limit is higher at Ofoto- I uploaded 40 quite high resolution pics there yesterday, and I have several albums already, so they seem to accept more. I use both because they're both free and it at least doubles your space allowance!

I used Photobucket in the end as it seems unlimited. Spent the morning sorting pictures out and uploading. It was very easy!
