I was complained about by the Parish Council last night

People drop off their children
I ask parents to park in the drive - about 3/4 do

What esle can I do?

Chuff all. The neighbours complained about my osteopath for the same thing - he had 2 spaces outside his practice and space on the drive and never more than 3 people waiting. One neighbour went to the trouble of getting a large van with no tax, plastered it with posters complaining and parked it outside the osteopath's!

They never park accross the drive

They occasionally park on the otherside of the road to their drive

But I reg put it in a newsletter

oh FFS, if your parish council is anything like ours, they're a bunch of miserly old tw*ts who will be unhappy with whatever you do. Our PC objects to virtually every single planning application, unless it's submitted by one of their mates or relatives. Don't think they actually have much of a say though.
