I justify myself to no-one

ginmummy · 21/09/2006 11:08

I kind of agree with oliveoil's post that she justifies herself to no-one but I still do.

Twiglett · 21/09/2006 11:09

No because I can justify absolutely anything

go on .. test me

expatinscotland · 21/09/2006 11:10

I can't really justify buying that Essie nail varnish. But I did it anyway.

Carmenere · 21/09/2006 11:10

Well spending too much time on MN is probably unjustifiable. I mean spending a bit of time on here is probably a reasonable way of interacting with other mums and getting and offering support, but spending hours on here most days is probably unjustifable

FlameSparrow · 21/09/2006 11:13

I can pretty much justify anythign too... ok, so some of my arguements might not be entirely sound, but I can believe in them

Twiglett · 21/09/2006 11:18

Expat

you spend all of your life caring for other people and making sure they're happy. Just this once you have treated yourself to something. Its not even a big treat after all, it could have been a manicure but no you are conscious of the family purse so are going to do it yourself.

see I'm good aren't I?

Having a car, spendng time on MN, letting dp do all the washing up....

Gingerbear · 21/09/2006 11:21

MNing at work . I know I am procrastinating, and I have heaps to do, but I am still here!

Twiglett · 21/09/2006 12:04

Having a car .. you have it for DS, he could miss out on lots of social occasions and less days out and for emergencies

spendng time on MN ... people need you here, you defuse situations, you have unique experience that others require

letting dp do all the washing up.... fuck it I bet you do everything else .. he's not doing it FOR YOU .. he's doing it for the house

Twiglett · 21/09/2006 12:05

btw .. I took DS to school and came back to find that DH had washed up my wine glasses (with friends not him) from last night .. now that's lurve

ginmummy · 21/09/2006 12:56

Gingerbear - I'm MNing at work too and I've just clicked on the 'threads I'm on' button and it's returned more than 40 in the last 3 days! I must get some work done!
