Well spending too much time on MN is probably unjustifiable. I mean spending a bit of time on here is probably a reasonable way of interacting with other mums and getting and offering support, but spending hours on here most days is probably unjustifable

I can pretty much justify anythign too... ok, so some of my arguements might not be entirely sound, but I can believe in them

you spend all of your life caring for other people and making sure they're happy. Just this once you have treated yourself to something. Its not even a big treat after all, it could have been a manicure but no you are conscious of the family purse so are going to do it yourself.

Having a car .. you have it for DS, he could miss out on lots of social occasions and less days out and for emergencies

spendng time on MN ... people need you here, you defuse situations, you have unique experience that others require

btw .. I took DS to school and came back to find that DH had washed up my wine glasses (with friends not him) from last night .. now that's lurve
