sorry to hear this. BG are awful - so crap at averything! no advice but I would not pay without giving them hassle - after all it's their fault.

contact Energy Watch who will sort it out for you, why shold you have to pay the extra tariff charge when its up to them to sort it out

I think all companies should have a maximum of 6 months in which to catch any billing errors and after that, they have to just eat it.

That would make them be more careful.
