I think it would be a very quick way to lose the friendship, tbh.

LIZS · 17/09/2006 18:07

Does seem like you are profitting from their misery tbh. Is it a reposession , if so, why have you not offered to buy before now ? Do you wnat to remain friends ?

Surfermum · 17/09/2006 18:07

Is the house being repossessed?

Mud · 17/09/2006 18:13

So you'd be buying from the landlord as an investment, and your friend could stay put with you as the new landlord?

Mud · 17/09/2006 18:20

no would have to sell it on

She can't be your sitting tenant ?

it's opportunistic and hurtful for your friend. If you want to buy a house that's been repossessed on the cheap I am sure you could find another. take the idea away and apply it elsewhere.
