Insurance has gone mad, hasn't it?

Just had a call asking if I want to insure everyone who passes my threshhold in case they get an eyelash in their eye and end up with third degree burns (or something).

The world's gone mad, right? Or do you all have accident cover for your guests?!

She tried the "with four people living in your house..." scare tactic. And the "little kids are always hurting themselves" thing too.

I actually think this is pretty shitty cold-calling, don't you?

My friend is constantly telling me she'll sue if she breaks her legs falling over the children's toys.

And I tell her I'll counter-sue for inconvenience and hurt feelings.

Come to think of it I think I used to have insurance for people having accidcents on my home insurance.

But then I found a cheaper policy.

Yes it is shitty if it was a cold call.
