yes hope the grommets work well. When DS had his first ones at a similar age the difference in his hearing was immediate and marked. Let's hope that it is "first and only" in your DD's case and they help with the ear infections.

Ds1 and ds2 had grommets. I always remember ds1 afterwards. We gave him some mashed potato to eat and when he hit the bowl with the spoon he said "Loud!" in tones of utter shock!
