To all those of you who wish you could be confident

I'd just like to say .. I am outwardly confident and sorted and together

and yet this morning I saw 2 of my friends go off for coffee and thought "wha-at about me.e.e.e.e.eeee"

I couldn't have gone cos I was meeting someone but I'd have liked to be asked dagnammit!

oops just misread my OP .. sounds horrifically cocky doesn't it .. didn't mean it to .. just meant even when you look at people who you always think are confident they may well, behind the grin, have an internal dialogue going "you're not nice, you're not worthy of an invitation, they HATE you"

I was VERY confident this morning and arranged for me and 3 of my colleagues to go for a coffee at lunchtime. I then spent the whole morning worrying about whether we'd have anything to talk about, whether they'd think I was a skiver wanting to go for a coffee etc.etc...! (turned out to be very nice and we're going to do it again - hurrah!)

I shaved my toes specially!

(Going swimming now...not quite sure what's come over me - some sort of exercise kick. Place bets on how long it lasts...swimming twice in a week )
