Ok, I sold a small electrical item on ebay and the seller is saying that it is faulty and wants a refund. The item is brand new and was definitely working perfectly well when I sent it. What should I do?

Ask them to return it so that you can provide a full refund. You can then check if it is working or not and, if it is, give a refund of the purchase price but not the P&P. If it is faulty, then refund the whole lot.

Agree that you should ask for it to be returned so you can check it. Did the buyer pay alot of money for it and how much was the postage?

Ok, I'll ask for it to be returned and test it. It was £11.50 and p&p was £2.50.

.... although actual postage alone was slightly less.
