most bizarre experience in local corner shop the other day

i went to the PO and one stop shop with dh and dd2+3. dh and dd2 went to get a bottle of water, a man stocking shelves stopped dh and said 'is that one of those artificial hearts?' dh was gobsmacked to say the least lol. no-one outside of harefield has known what it is, we even had to explain how it worked to some of the nurses and docs here.

word is spreading....

school term time (which rules ds2 out) and ds1 is still wetting everynight, that's workaroundable, but tricky.

Thought of you t'other day while i was watching sharon osbourne. She had oprgan donor packs unbder the chairs in the audience and had a young girl on who had had a transplant. I didn't catch it all.

I'm away (autism conference) a few weeks before so using up lots of favours then.

Am quite tempted to go and drop ds1 and ds2 to school each day (up at crack of dawn we could do it).......

complete hijack here - but jimjams have you thought about asking MN if you can auction the holiday on here? You could always give a percentage to Misdee's charity or something? Then someone MN gets a break and you all benefit - hijack over
