Happy birthday Jahan, fwiw I was 39 last monday and although there are times when I feel not on top form, I've given up regarding birthdays as this age, that age, more now as a celebration of life, in fact I think I'm regressing but in a nice way.

Nah- misery is ok every once in a while and, hey, it's your birthday so if you wanna be miserable today that's your prorogative. What are you going to do to celebrate?

I am having a celebration lunch with family.
I would rather spend the day in bed watching chick flicks with a big box of chocolates.

Jahan it's your day so make sure to get time for girly flick and chocs, I spent last wknd for my birthday on my own in Paris! I met loads of lovely people, I even had a girl that worked in one bar bring me out a slice of apple tart with sparklers in it and the whole bar sang happy bithday to me.
