any chemists/pharmacits know what these abrev means?

A tonic has been recommended by a friend for ds wind problem. Ive bought the bottle which is made up by the chemist but have no idea what ingredients are in it. The advice just says for teething, restlessness and wind and to give whenever.
The ingredients are;
syr. simp.
mag carb.pond
mag carb lev.
sod bicarb.
ol. anisi.
spt ammon. fetid bpc
chlorof.
spts vini rect

sod bicard is baking soda
ol anisi is aniseed oil

mag = magnesium
carb = carbonate

Aniseed oil
Ammonia ( i think)
Chloroform
This could be apharmacists made up version of mag trisilicate mixture.
What area is it? where your pharmacy is it could be one of my accs therefore i could ask for you.
