What were the daftest things you did to get comfortable when pregnant/postnatal?

just wondered really if there were any sillier ones than mine....but i dont want to tell you what it was until ive heard some others! (lets just say it envolved masking tape)

Digging a hole in the sand at the beach so I could lie on my tummy. Trying to do the same with pillows on the bed and falling on the floor.

I couldn't sleep because of the noise of the tarpauling (sp?) flapping upstairs where we were having our loft extension. So at 3 a.m. I put on my dressing gown, fetched a hammer and some nails. Ten minutes later dp noticed I was missing and came up to the loft to find me deleriously trying to nail it down.

Still, Jane Eyre is one of my favourite books.
