yeah but in line with most mn names one tends to make an acronym out of it and the trouble with thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat is it always ends up as twat in my heat

I just checked the thread starter to make sure it wasn't FA on one of her popularity contests!

Threads like this do get my goat though, for 2 obvious reasons:

Why be scared of people you don't know and who don't know you?
Mumsnet is about sharing experiences and having a laugh, if people are feeling threatened then it's doing something wrong.

I see all these people as just names. They're not real to me unless I've met them, which is why I avoid meeting them, I prefer to keep them at a distance. What you see on here is not necessarily what you get in reality and there are far worse things out there that you should be scared of. This is the internet, if someone hassles you then you switch off the pc, that's it. I think too many people are drawn into it now and it takes over their real lives so that this, in a way, is their real life!

Oh and that Custardo, now she is one scary bitch!

I've never been scared of anyone on here as most of you have said it is after all just a screen!! I was surprised quite recently though that about 3 people made me feel really intimidated and it really p*ed me off that it got to me so I've avoided MN for a bit lately. Stupid really!!!
