Blackpool, anyone been?, where did you stay?

we want somewhere close to attractions but not over a pub!
nothing too pricy but nice and clean..anyone got any suggestions?

I agree with malory... It's tacky and awful..really it is..{sorry for those of you who live there ) but this is just IMO....

If you go there though there is some kind of decent hotel local..think it's a travel lodge..?
You could stay at any B&B but for the price I would stay in better surroundings in the TL.

There is a couple of Travel lodges there, think someone on here has a b& b too but I wouldn't stay there more than a night or 2 , I would stay further out. There is a couple of caravan sites in the area too.

Can't find it- twas Bubblerock- she has a hotel although she was selling up I don't know if she has yet.

There's a hotel I've heard of called Strawberry Fields- it's Beatles themed- I have no idea what its like but heard ok things.

We went to Blackpool for a couple of days but stayed in a Travelodge. It was fab and dd had a fab time in the Pleasre beach (she's only 2 1/2-lol)

well strawberry fields wont let us go overnight and tbh, communal rooms looked very social clubbish
