Holiday Ideas for a single parent family??

I'm looking to take my DD away for a week within the next month or so, but have absolutly no clue about any single parent family-friendly places/ tour opperatives to go with. My DD is 2 and quite active (what 2 year old isn't?!) and I could really do with some sun!
It would be great to go away where there will be other people in a similar boat.
Does anyone have any ideas? I really need a holiday...feeling quiite depressed at the moment!x

mark warner holidays do a thing for single parents, where they offer (a bit) of money off, and on the first night you all get to meet each other and have dinner together. Also there is excellent childcare during the day, as well as baby listening at night, so you do get time to yourself as well as time with dd. I've only been once, and although it was expensive it was great for both dd and me.

ALso DelGirl: Are you planning a holiday at the moment? Maybe we could swop notes if and when we find something suitable?
