How many post offices near you have closed down recently?

4 near us have closed leaving 5 for 60,000 to use.
The queues are horrific.

The corner shop at the end of our road used to have a PO counter. It was so convenient as I never had to struggle into town with heavy parcels etc. Now I have to use the town centre one which always has a massive queue and never enough windows open

when i first moved here 5 yrs ago there were 2 small post offices and a p.o counter now there is one large p.o that seems to work fine, there is the option of going to a muvh larger one in town but queues are ridiculous.

i don;t mind now as i have learned the days and times not to go in!! (car tax days and mon/tues morning pension day )
