Poor lad. I have heard/read that ethnic minority bone marrow and blood donors are thin on the ground, in fact I think I read it in the last lot of NBS literature they sent me.

It's tragic, that's for sure. Friends lost their DS just a week before his 6th birthday to a v aggressive form of leukemia

Just bumping this again, here is an email i ahve recieved so please spread the word for poor keiton

Hi there,

Thank you all for your lovely e-mails and gifts and kind words, they put a smile on Keitons face.

Wow so much has happened over these last few weeks with TV, radio, newspaper and magazines
and the amazing drive/clinic we had down at the Nottinghill Carnival where we signed up nearly 100
new bone marrow donors.

Keiton is doing well at the moment and has been allowed home for a few days to spend some time in his
own bed and playing with his friends. But next week he's back in hospital again for another block of treatment.

Unfortunately a match has not been found for Keiton and time is really running out for us as we now have less then
2 months before the operation and it takes about 1 month from the moment of giving a blood sample to confirming
the match.

One of the potential miss matches we had from Germany and the 2 from the USA are now not available ...This is a
real disappointment and leaves us at the beginning again ...with NOTHING.

I know I have asked before, but please please forward this e-mail to as many people as you know,
we have arranged to work with the National Blood Service, allowing us to use their blood clinic days in
London and I have enclosed some of the dates & locations with a new flyer that you can print out and
give to your friends.

With love and appreciation

Keiton, Paris & Warren
