Does anyone know how to dry out soaking wet fur-lines wellies? They seemed like such a good idea at the time... !

The ds's went puddle-jumping and wading on Sunday at our local country park - we had a giggle as we emptied out the water that collected in the bottom of their wellies periodically... BUT, the cosy, fur-lined wellies that I thought were fab to keep ds1's toes cosy on cold days are STILL soaking wet inside the foot bit. They've been sat on the radiator since we got back on Sunday, and are starting to smell a bit mouldy

Is there a magic way of drying them out or shall I stick with ordinary wellies in future and just bin them?!

shove loads of paper towels inside of them.

stuff with newspaper to absorb the water - change it every couple of hours

Are you drying them upside down????

put then in a 30 degree wash (really) to get rid of the smell then dry then upside down in the airing cupboard. I put these kind of wellies and trainers in the washing machine. LOL also put DS's black leather school shoes in the wash after he vomited all over them. Ruined the leather but they polished up well enough to stagger through the last month of school before end of term !
