Ok, we have reached that part of the holidays where the kids wake us saying Im Bored..

Im going out after 1 and ive just let them free on the kitchen cupboards with some stickers to make a shop so thats the next couple of hours filled but we have another 3 weeks off...please inspire me.

The Scottish kids are back at school!

8 and 5. Girls.

Just made a cake with my DSS - it passed 20 minutes, but suddenly they disappeared when it came to the washing up...

do you know I don't ever recall being bored in the school holidays - mind you I might have been it was such a long time ago!

We 'played out' all the time with friends - we made shops outside - stones were potatoes, privet leaves were peas we just used our imagination.

Is it a sign of the times?

erm...i struggle with girls but i was 5 and 8 once so i will try and remember what we did...

we used to make things out iof loo rolls and paint them then would play for hours with them
riding bikes round

actualy, it was alot safer to play out when i was growing up (and i am only 24) so i guiess that it was easier to find things to do then as we were always running round the street and in each others gardens makes me really

they have glued/sticked and never sit down to watch a dvd unless theres popcorn involved...sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
They are on the shop thing now. Have a pocket kite i will take with me this afternoon.
Will see if I can get some nice colouring books when im out too thanks
