Yes, what kind of thing do you like to do? I always like going to the really posh areas and looking at the shops, no need to buy anything. Fun just looking

The Globe is v close to Tate Modern and has a great museum underneath it. Or go on one of those Frog bus tours that go into the river as well? They look like fun!

no kids with us...something that will fill empty spaces in the conversaton

Nice meal , sitting outside in Covent Garden, perhaps a Gallery or Westminster Abbey?

Sir John Soanes museum in Holborn is great. Duck tours are fun but a bit embarassing so might be better for good friends. Joe Allen is a good covent garden theatre restaurant, quite close to the Theatre museum and er.. covent garden.
Royal Academy is guite good if you liek art (tate modern has more wow factor and then you can cross the wobbly bridge to St Pauls?)

hi charliecat. you could check out this link to see if there are any events going on the day you're visiting. i used this site all the time when i was in London and found there was usually something of interest happening most weekends, and quite often its free or doesn't cost that much - a bargain .
