I've just made an order online and I've put in the wrong expiry date for my visa card - is this going to cause a problem?

Just put an order in online for a magazine subscription. Paid with my visa card and the order went through fine. Had confirmation of order through my e-mail.
Only problem is I've noticed that the year of the expiry date of my visa card is wrong - dated three years after it actually expires.
Order has gone through fine now - am I going to get problems with this?

They may come back to you and ask for you to re-enter your details. I'm sure it will be fine.

I would expect it not to go through. When the full processing takes place, it should be refused. At least that is my experience. I gave John Lewis my card details yesterday and the women wrote down the expiry date wrong (got month out by 3 months). She phoned me a few minutes later to tell me card had been refused.

Forgot to add, that once she reentered correct details, all was fine.

It was for a magazine subscription for dh's birthday.

I'm wondering whether or not to put the order through again or just wait. I don't want to end up with two lots of mags coming through the door.

I've done this and they've phoned back to check.

Could you phone them?

I printed off all the information last night and there is a telephone number but it's for the magazine itself rather than the company I've ordered through.

I managed to get hold of the magazine group and amended the details on the phone. It's all going to be okay. It will take them 21 days though to pass the details through to the magazine people, so it's going to be a while before DH gets anything. Ah well, you live and learn. Thanks for you advice peeps!
