Whilst I've been sitting here I've noticed that the number of emails in my inbox is going down - all by itself! What's going on??

There were 41 messages in my inbox. Noticed that it then said 40. Doubted self. Now it says 39. Pourquoi?

Have they been there long? AOL deletes unread messages after a certain amount of time (can't remember how long but if you have a free provider it will be a shorter period I'm guessing)

Does anyone else have access to your email account???

Have you single clicked on the messages so that they appeared in the reading pane thingy?

Ah, am on AOL. They're all spammy type stuff so just leave them until can be bothered to delete them. Not clicked on any and no-one else has access. But do have a little elf next to me.
