Goodness feels like -17 in the City - although have been stuck in the bloody building all day - DP blew me ou for lunch and went to pick up his Euro tickets from Highbury - oooohhhh can go home early now though!!

Is Buckinghamshire and Salisbury as beautiful as they sound?? (got to be better than bloody Sidcup!!)

emmatmg · 16/03/2004 14:44

Don't know the temp here (surrey/south london) but it's warm enough for me to not wear a coat out and have a few windows open and I normally feel the cold.

Glorious here too - car said 19 degrees when I nipped out at lunchtime - back in the office now though. Also in Buckinghamshire at the moment - Milton Keynes (it shatters the illusion somewhat doesn't it!!).

emmatmg · 16/03/2004 14:46

Actually according to BBC weather web site it's only 13*c.

B*llocks is it!

juliejoo · 16/03/2004 14:55

Bloody hell! How the other half live! Up here in Scotland it's blowing a gale!! I got drenched taking the dogs & pram round the park, and it sounds like my windows are going to blow in any minute!!

Jaybee · 16/03/2004 15:32

I am sitting at work but we are surrounded by fields and trees and always seems so idyllic on days like this - I can look out of the window and see the lambs that appeared overnight - they are just so cute.

lou33 · 16/03/2004 15:34

It's beautiful here today, I saw my first butterfly of the spring .

bundle · 16/03/2004 15:38

iota · 16/03/2004 15:50

Jaybee - I'm in MK too - have just been on the school run - driving past fields of lambs and horses - oops should have been walking shouldn't I?

Not far from where I work - I am on the edge of Wavendon - live in Northants - just up the A5.

iota · 16/03/2004 16:05

Jaybee - there's a lot worse places to live and work aren't there? Not everybody gets to see lambs playing outside the office window

Jaybee · 16/03/2004 16:26

certainly are - Bow Brickhill is lovely - a lady I used to work with lived in one of the Brickhills - not sure which one though - do you live there or just go to school there? (well dd of course not you )
