If you rub baby oil on your legs with cotton wool that will get the wax off.

Is this the 1st time you've had your legs wax? Might be worth waiting a bit as your more likely to be sore.

I had them done about 20 years ago & I bruised all over

I also had them done 9 monhs ago & I was fine

So they are quite sore (that's why I want a bath)

The more you have them done, the easier and less painful it gets. Keep the bath cool. You could add some drops of teatree oil to stop infection.

Belo · 17/08/2006 21:48

Sorry, meant to say irritation, not infection.

Katymac · 17/08/2006 21:54

Thanks...so a cool bath is ok?

Oh poor you. Waxing does get better and less painful. I've been waxing since I was 16 (so quite a long time...) and I find it sooo much better than shaving. Persevere! Main advantage for me is that in large - and getting larger - patches the hair has completley stopped growing.

Hope bruise goes soon.

not being funny but maybe you should complain hun, bits of wax left on is bad form, the odd bit maybe but also the bruising.... if you're easily bruised then it might not be totaly the therapists fault but maybe s/he took hair from wrong angle.

hope your skin calms down soon.

btyw, you can have a bath as soon as you like but not too hot (as layneydaye said) also no sunbathing, perfumed products or swimming for 24hrs.

oil will remove the wax, dont scrub.
