The numbers on my oven temp dial have gone

I think I musthave bought a cleaner that ermoves the transfer lettering that tells me what temperature my oven is at.

To be honest when cooking a roast or casserole I know from memoery whereabouts to postion the dial but obvoiusly for baking I need more precision.

Is there anything i can do to fix this?

have you still got the instruction booklet? it might have a picture of the dials you can use as reference - this is what we have to do at work.

i did the same to my washing machine - it was the vanish spray from where i spray clothes on the surface above machine.

Never thougt of the instruction booklet will dig it out.

My Mum has done it to her washing machine as well!
