I've been asked to share and ask others to report the page and it really is awful. Facebook are refusing to take it down because it contains no nudity...what do we do?????

OP posts:
MamaMary · 23/02/2014 21:35

Yes, Theoldhag, it could well be a police matter.

Hushabyelullaby · 23/02/2014 21:35

How do I report on the page, it just asks me to log in (am logged in through the app)?

migsy86 · 23/02/2014 21:35

Disgusting I've shared on my wall asking people to report it.

SackAndCrack · 23/02/2014 21:35

That made my stomach drop.

I cant see an option to report it. Where is it?

ClaudetteWyms · 23/02/2014 21:36

I reported it to the IWF here:

www.iwf.org.uk/report

AnyFuckerHQ · 23/02/2014 21:36

Hush... don't bother reporting on the FB page

Crazedpinkstarfish · 23/02/2014 21:36

It fricking well SHOULD be a police matter. As a mum it makes me sick to think this sort of thing is allowed to stand.

Fishandjam · 23/02/2014 21:36

I've tweeted about it (am not on TosserBook)

AnyFuckerHQ · 23/02/2014 21:37

Guys, please don't share the link on your walls

it ups the visitor numbers

just report directly to IWF, link above

hmc · 23/02/2014 21:37

Scrolled down the thread - looks like I will be getting a facebook ban too since I called them spectacularly stupid in my feedback

DownstairsMixUp · 23/02/2014 21:38

AF is right. Forwarded the link to DP to and he had the same reply within seconds like I did. How the fuck do facebook know it's ok that quickly?! Dread to think what other shit is on there.

Mignonette · 23/02/2014 21:38

DO NOT SHARE THIS PAGE.

I know you mean well but don't.

Can't believe what is happening. Thank goodness this page has been spotted. I am right behind this thread although am too nervous to click on the link. What I read here is harrowing - how can this page be allowed to continue?

CatThiefKeith · 23/02/2014 21:38

Have reported, vile disgusting people.

Am awaiting my FB ban for my feedback!Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 23/02/2014 21:39

Very Sad
My 11.6 yo prances about her bedroom in her underwear but in private in her own room.
The thought of someone looking at her is beyond revolting.

Angry
Methe · 23/02/2014 21:39

I'm just conscious that maybe sharing this on your wall or tweeting the link could be seen as distributing.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 23/02/2014 21:39

Facebook are on very dangerous ground here - these are indecent images of children - level 1 - 'children in erotic poses, clothed or partially clothed."

It's a criminal offence to publish, distribute or even possess these images.

Koothrapanties · 23/02/2014 21:39

Shakin did they give a reason for the ban? Did you swear in your feedback?

gertrudetrain · 23/02/2014 21:40

I didn't click on it but from what I have read on here 1 or 2 of the cases will defo be indirect sexual abuse by sharing images. It's in the Children's act definition.

CEOP & IFW are the way to go. Unfortunately I've had direct experience of the impact this can cause on the victims & their families. I am so angry at fb I don't think I could keep an account with them anymore.

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 23/02/2014 21:40

shakin seriously? They have banned you for it? WTF did you say? I think you'll have a good case for a huge apology from them very soon.

I have just hastily saved my photos in case the same happens here.

PamHalpert · 23/02/2014 21:40

Disgusting Angry :( I have reported.

Crazedpinkstarfish · 23/02/2014 21:40

Like facebook will give a rats arse. At the end of the day they see themselves as untouchable.

HettiePetal · 23/02/2014 21:41

My understanding is that child porn doesn't have to involve nudity. Children posing suggestively in underwear still counts.

So FB condones and publishes child porn.

Utterly disgusting - and I'm really upset to see how some of those little girls have been dressed.

KellyHopter · 23/02/2014 21:41

Well done everyone for reporting.

On a slightly seperate note, does this not (especially when considered alongside similar previous instances of offensive and abusive content and FBs frankly couldn't give a fuck response) prompt people to close their FB accounts?

I find it really strange that anyone still wants to be a part of this. It's like FB is now so ingrained in our psyche that closing your account is not even an option.
