I've been asked to share and ask others to report the page and it really is awful. Facebook are refusing to take it down because it contains no nudity...what do we do?????

OP posts:
Crazedpinkstarfish · 23/02/2014 20:52

Hmm out of curiosity how was this page initially discovered?

Skang · 23/02/2014 20:52

What country is Rodney Hopkins in?

Methe · 23/02/2014 20:53

Immediate response for me too.

Facebook deal with stuff like this really really badly.

Crazedpinkstarfish · 23/02/2014 20:53

Oh dear god he also has a chat room for 14+ in his interestes. This guy is so sick its unreal.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 23/02/2014 20:53

Is there a CEOP button on FB?

I have reported.

Thats vike.

Just embodies everything we talk to our DC about on social media.

JupiterGentlefly · 23/02/2014 20:54

I am hoping its an automated reply. I don't known what else to do other than give CEOPs a call tomorrow?

AnyFuckerHQ · 23/02/2014 20:54

Stop reporting to FB and report to CEOPS and the police

BrokenToeOuch · 23/02/2014 20:54

Reported and they probably won't like what I've written in the feedback.

BertieBottsJustGotMarried · 23/02/2014 20:55

CEOPS would be far better to report to than facebook TBH. More chance of tracing the sick fuckers responsible. Facebook will probably just delete - this is by far not the first kind of "please report this page" I've seen on facebook :( Really horrendous. Facebook definitely don't seem to take it seriously either or they'd require pre approval for groups which they don't.

Ceop reporting screen only has an option for if you are a direct victim. I can't see how to report online stuff.

FullOfChoc · 23/02/2014 20:57

I have reported too. I selected "I just don't like it" I can't see any more appropriate option.

Would the NSPCC get involved with lobbying facebook to take a more responsible approach to removing this sort of page?

It has made me feel quite sick.

Shodan · 23/02/2014 20:57

That is truly revolting. I've reported, and also posted on my local police FB page. I don't know if they can do anything, but it's worth a shot.

hmc · 23/02/2014 20:57

I have just reported to the Internet Watch Foundation who have a page on facebook

Yonineedaminute · 23/02/2014 20:57

What the fucking fuck? I also delved slightly deeper than I wanted to and no there is no actual nudity but there is a picture on there that I would probably class on the spectrum of child porn, plus an absolutely disgusting comment underneath from a man who, unless he is taking the piss, is a paedophile.

How do you report?

CaptainHindsight · 23/02/2014 20:58

I have reported here

That link is disgusting.
If you do click that link and your DC have access to your Internet history please delete it.

Thank you for sharing though OP, I hope we get this removed and the person responsible is held accountable for being a completely imcompetent human being.

Whitershadeofpale · 23/02/2014 20:58

I've reported, immediate email saying it doesn't break guidelines and I've now explained further in the feedback.

Koothrapanties · 23/02/2014 20:58

I reported and gave feedback including the following comment:

The page I reported is actively encouraging the public to view children in a sexual manner. It is encouraging pedophilia and i cannot understand how Facebook can allow a page like this. There are photographs of young girls in provocative poses with captions about how sexy they are. It is disgusting and should be removed immediately. If it is not removed, Facebook is itself encouraging and condoning pedophilia.

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 23/02/2014 20:59

Have reported to my local police (online) and would urge everyone to do the same. I am not sure whether to ask friends to do the same via FB though. I know a lot of them would.

hmc · 23/02/2014 20:59

Internet Watch Foundation

Methe · 23/02/2014 20:59

Brad Armstrong AKA Rodney Hopkins is a porn actor.

BetterWithCheese · 23/02/2014 20:59

I have reported the picture of the clearly very young girl with sexually explicit comments underneath. At the very least the sexual comments about her need to be removed but the whole page is disgusting and a scary way for paedophiles to potentially find other paedophiles. I can't believe it hasn't been removed yet.

Crazedpinkstarfish · 23/02/2014 21:00

Is it really sensible to be clicking a link like that at all. Things like this stay on your internet history and can cause countless problems in the future if people take it the wrong way.

JupiterGentlefly · 23/02/2014 21:00

it doesn't matter whether we click on the link or not. 'sexy' 'little' and 'girls' do not belong in the same sentence. I almost messaged some'lawyer' to lambaste him but don't know how to get my profile watertight.

sayanything · 23/02/2014 21:00

I've reported it harassing me or someone I know. I don't know any of those poor girls, but the page made me sick to my stomach.
