I've been asked to share and ask others to report the page and it really is awful. Facebook are refusing to take it down because it contains no nudity...what do we do?????

i don't think you have anything t worry about lj it is quite clear you are objecting by linking to this thread

GeorgianMumto5 · 23/02/2014 23:35

Reported. Took me ages to work out how. My browser history must now look dubious, but persisted because the page is horrible.

AnyFuckerHQ · 23/02/2014 23:36

Kelly...your point is ?

badgerknowsbest · 23/02/2014 23:37

Reported and I am so shocked that a page like this is on Facebook Angry

Lj8893 · 23/02/2014 23:37

Thanks supa I wanted to link to this thread so others can read it and follow the instructions of where and how to report.

KellyHopter · 23/02/2014 23:38

Walter, tbh that sounds like a Chinese whispers type thing.
I doubt the originator of the group has his employment details linked, one of the main commenters (going by things people have stated on this thread) seems to mention Tesco as his employer/former employer though.

Just sounds like the usual 'I know someone who knows someone' twaddle.

Not that that matters in the grand scheme of things.

waltermittymissus · 23/02/2014 23:38

And what, kelly?

Would you rather people do nothing?

urmydarlings · 23/02/2014 23:39

I think the link from the original op should be removed asap. incase some one else clicks on, if they com across this thread later.

Mignonette · 23/02/2014 23:40

I think Kelly is saying we cannot reconcile FB usage and being against these kind of groups - we all need to decide what we condone by continuing to use the site.

youarewinning · 23/02/2014 23:40

urm MNHQ are on it and will discuss this as a team tomorrow. Catherine MN commented unthread.

supadupapupascupa · 23/02/2014 23:40

why urm ? Mumsnet are aware, they can delete it is it is necessary...

waltermittymissus · 23/02/2014 23:40

Just sounds like the usual 'I know someone who knows someone' twaddle.

Except Anon themselves have been on the page?

I was telling people how the page came to public knowledge in the first place.

I'm a bit too mature to get into "I know someone who knows someone" twaddle.

I said what I heard. I said I don't know that it's 100% accurate. You're entirely free not to read it or believe it.

Don't know what difference it makes tbh.

KellyHopter · 23/02/2014 23:41

AF - My point is that I would love to see people close their accounts. Leave FB with only the dregs of society as their customer base.

Don't think it'll happen, but it's what I'd like to see.

urmydarlings · 23/02/2014 23:41

oh right, thanks winning!

BigArea · 23/02/2014 23:42

Reported

urmydarlings · 23/02/2014 23:44

supadupa I think the link should be removed cos any late comers can read the thread and report etc without clicking on link and seeing those pics.

MummyIsMagic79 · 23/02/2014 23:44

Reported. That is horrific. What the fuck is wrong with the people at Facebook???

CatThiefKeith · 23/02/2014 23:46

Lots of the posts on the page have gone . I sincerely hope that is because FB are acting and not because these sick people are covering their tracks

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 23/02/2014 23:46

And pmd mark zuckerberg..

supadupapupascupa · 23/02/2014 23:47

sorry, i don't understand urmy. I can't change the original OP anyway. I'm sure MNHQ will do what they need to in the morning.

I'm reporting it to the Internet Watch Foundation www.iwf.org.uk/report

We take reports on child sexual abuse images hosted anywhere in the world. This includes images depicting erotic posing

juniper44 · 23/02/2014 23:57

I've tweeted the Met Police over this. It probably isn't their jurisdiction, but maybe they'll do something.

nickelbabe · 24/02/2014 00:04

I've reported it ti fb and to the iwf.

I did click onnthe link, but managed to report without looking at anything (onntablet so not much fits on the page)

LadyStark · 24/02/2014 00:07

Someone could send a link to this thread to [email protected] - may help quicken the response time.

HellomynameisIcklePickle · 24/02/2014 00:09

Pretty glad Facebook haven't taken it down, gives Ceop and IWF a chance to log all the data
