God i've done loads that i regret, and not done some stuff that i regret too.

I regret every time I open my gob at the moment, if it's any consolation - I seem to be an expert at saying the wrong thing at the wrong time in the wrong way at the moment! (I think I'm turning into my mother )

All the time ..Everyday I think of things that I have done and blush !!!. but some wise old soul - said that it's these things that are the making of us and form our characters. We are what we are ......

Or is it me trying to console myself.

I think the worst thing is when you're speaking and inwardly you're kicking yourself and screaming "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" but somehow you can't stop yourself

Once, I banged on about my disguting middle name during a dinner with some girlfriends. I made them wait for ages until I told them rather loudly what a hideous name it was. Unfortunately I forgot there was a girl of the same name sitting at the other end of the table. Oh God the shame of it - I phoned her the next day to apologise as I was so embarrassed.

SecondhandRose · 09/03/2004 18:23

Oops that should have said disgusting

Paula71 · 09/03/2004 21:37

I have behaved really sh*y to someone at my old workplace. I took out my frustration on her rather than the dippy doll of a manager which was totally out of character (hence I was forgiven but I never fully apologised which I also regret - it wasn't long after loosing a baby so I was on self-destruct. No excuse I know but there you go.)

I called a bloke by his dead brothers name
