moving back to UK - how much to budget for bills?

hi, i am currently in germany and am due to move back to the uk fairly soon. money is tight and im trying to plan a budget ahead based around our income. with everything going up in cost in uk at the moment how much should i budget for gas and electricity for an average 3 bed house, using gas heating and electric cooker?

hi there, can help you a bit on this one, we have a 3 bed house and pay £50 per month on a direct debit to cover gas and electric. We hardly use any in summer, but more in winter so over the year it averages out and you're not hit with a huge bill!

If you use a lot of gas and electric, my grandparents are a good case as they're retired and always at home; they pay £80 a month (approx).

we only have electric and pay £80 a month dd. then council tax on a two bed house with single person allowance is £75... erm rates (water sewage) are about £150 ayear..... erm there must be more as i am always poor but cant think what???

thanks guys, that does help, i was thinking of budgetong £50 per month so maybe i wasnt too far off.
