I noticed today I was given a parking ticket by these people - must have been on Saturday afternoon while I was parked in a Retail Park car park. Think it must have been rained on since then and I can barely read it, so I don't know why it was issued, but can just make out my car reg. (admittedly I did go to other shops and took quite a while...) Anyway... I was just wondering if anyone else has ever been issued with a ticket by this firm, and how strenuous they were in chasing you up??!

Any advice gratefully received. The fine is £50.

Got one in January, think it was from them & I'm still unpaid & unchased.

Bumping this thread as I've had a letter from the parking agency. The original fine was £30 and it has now gone up to £50, as I did not pay. Their letter says they will "take steps to recover the money" if I do not cough up. I am wondering what would happen if I still ignored it and they "took steps". I'd still only have to pay the £50 wouldn't I, or have I got that wrong? Wonder if I've got anything to lose by still ignoring 'em!

You may have to pay £50 plus anycosts they incur.

You could try to pay just the £30 saying that the ticket was rained on and illegible - do you still have it?

Yep. Think I will phone them and plead rain damage to ticket. Try for the £30! Thanks Soupdragon. Oh, why was I so long round those shops!

Leave it out in the rain some more to ensure all contact details on the ticket are illegible in case they ask to see it!
