One of those ones with the jelly type stuff in (the circle ones with the swirly pattern) - if it makes any difference it was a purple colour...

Hes eaten about half of it, doesnt seem bothered by it.

Can i just pretend i didnt see or is he going to be sick?

oh god dont know...erm would say just watch him over next few hours and take it from there...

misdee · 02/08/2006 12:14

i'd call NHS direct, give them the make of it and what fragance, they can check the poisens unit for you.

madmarchhare · 02/08/2006 12:16

agree with misdee

throckenholt · 02/08/2006 12:16

does it say anything on the back of the packet ? Maybe google it - and if you can't find out do as misdee suggests.

Nemo1977 · 02/08/2006 12:17

misdees suggestion much more sensible

bundle · 02/08/2006 12:18

I would be worried. Ring A&E and ask them to call the poisons unit for you.

misdee · 02/08/2006 12:19

i did what i suggested when dd3 ate the gel from a nappy.

bundle · 02/08/2006 12:19

NHS direct will ring you back, quicker to call A&E.

my DS1 drank massage oil containing essential oils onc......was in hospital for obs for 12hrs!!

sorry if not wanting to hear thet, but essential oils are dangerous if thrown up as mixed with stomach acids will burn on way up.

take him A&E now......

sympathy....

psychomum5 · 02/08/2006 12:23

and then hide everything as DS1 came home and a week later ate dishwasher powder and we were back again......

and yes....I did learn to hide things after that

good luck!!

Bugsy2 · 02/08/2006 12:34

It is unlikely to be poisonous. It is an air freshener and is releasing its components into the air in your house, so I doubt it is made of anything highly toxic.
Infact I just looked it up on the Household Products Database & it didn't come up as being toxic.

TambaIsBadBadBad · 02/08/2006 12:34

Nurse said he will be fine, just to give him a glass of milk. If hes sick once then thats ok but he hes sick alot then to take him in. Its low toxidity luckily.

oh thank goodness!!!

am guessing it must be dilute enough to not worry too much!!!
unlike massage oil with high concentration!

for the relief.
