anyone living in derbyshire?

i am from london and moving to derbyshire in december please tell me how is employment there?looking for teaching jobs.and any other useful information.schools,going out everything.

either derby itself or any of the closest villages.don't know really we like it there with my dh but he is a pub manager in london so will look for same job in derbyshire just worried.we are buying a house next month and will have to look for jobs

I am in Sheffield, on the Derbyshire borders almost. I did work in Derbyshire, teaching ata secondary school in Duffield, north of Derby.

If school teaching, the Derbyshre LEA website may have information for you. I think Derby itself has a page also.

I live in South Derbyshire, about 20 miles from Derby. Don't know much about the city itself - don't go there very often - but there are some lovely villages close by
