The husband and wife row every night without fail, and at first being as nosy as i am would just listen every now and then, now its summer all the doors and windows are open and you can clearly here every word, i have to have my dd window shut when she first goes to bed as it wakes her. the laugage is dreadful, and my dd is 2 next month and repeating every thing she heres, she has yet to repeat their favorite words but i can't see it being long. they are next door but one and my direct neighbours have on many occasions banged on the wall or asked them to keep it down, only to be told to mind there own busy and mouthfuls of abuse through the wall. its starting to really get to me now, i am 30 wks pregnant with no 2 and they regular wake me up of a night time and its too hot to close all the windows. any advice really welcome!!!!!

Sounds awful chocolate! All I would suggest is that you ask your neighbour in between (and the one on the other side too if they have one) if you could all make complaints to the council re. noise pollution and get them to "have a word". That way, if it comes in as "several complaints" then they can't just blame one individual.

have you tried yelling 'shut up' really loudly at them?

Posey · 31/07/2006 15:56

I really feel for you
I think the bbc are doing a thing about problem neighbours at the moment. Type BBC and noisy neighbours into Google and you should get their website which gives help and advice for dealing with problems.

I have neighbours like that too, I think it is mum with two grown up daughters and one of their boyfriends. The language is awful and I have had to teake teh kids in when it is really bad and their windows are open.

Its horrible to hear, such hatred and disrespect. I really don't want my kids to here, but not sure what I can do about it as the y are all grown adults and don't think it is physical.
