Ds2 : ''I can see your boobies, mum''
It's very hard keeping your arms folded firmly infront of your chest with 2 kids both trying to hold your hand and a handbag

yes, we were just up to the local shop! Is it going to do this all afternoon do you think?
(I'm assuming your talkname relates to the part of the world you're living in??)
Don't know whether to go out to the park or not now...

Wotcha Northerner - my washing's soaked n'all!. Lovely now - so do I brave the Valley Gardens?

Northerner · 31/07/2006 14:20

I wouldn't risk it. Still black here.

fullmoonfiend · 31/07/2006 14:25

Cappucino - wet your washing may be, but it's soft southern watter, not hard-core proper northern watter...

Actually, that reminds me, was at Scarborough at the weekend in a fish and chip caff. The waitress wanders over after our meal and asks if I want coffee. ''Can I have a decaf?'' I asked ''No, we've only Gold Blend'' she said, ''but it's dead nice''

Cappucino · 01/08/2006 09:45

fullmoon I didn't say I'd moved down south

good god!!!!

I moved across, not down

bettythebuilder · 01/08/2006 11:14

And it's still chucking it down here today!
Interaction-arama - or it would be if I could drag myself away from MN.

(I got caught in the same shower yesterday, drove to the airport all of 13 miles away to find lovely sunshine, and Dh wondering why a drowned rat was picking him up from work!)

fullmoonfiend · 01/08/2006 17:13

Cap - huge apologies for calling you > Southern...

fullmoonfiend · 01/08/2006 17:14

Halllo Betty! >
Got soaked again today!

Cappucino · 01/08/2006 17:15

that's okay fullmoon

I'll see you getting wet again as karma

Northerner · 01/08/2006 17:22

Notanotter - are you in Harrogate?!!

We had some rain today didn't we?

bettythebuilder · 01/08/2006 17:35

Hi fmf - and it's still raining, northerner. I just got in from the post office in time, as it's monsooning again (I'm wearing black today, just in case).
The local animals are all pairing up and heading to high ground.
I suppose a 24 hour deluge could be seen by some to be highly appropriate on Yorkshire Day.
